Holiday Tree Lighting:December 4, 6:30-8:00pm
Be the first in your neighborhood to see the spectacular mansion dressed for the holidays. Join us for a festive time with music, mansion visits, the arrival of Father Christmas, and the tree lighting on the Mansion lawn. Light refreshments will be available and the Mansion gift Shop will be open. Adults $20, Srs 62+ /Jrs 6-13 $10. Members receive 2 free tickets, additional tickets are $15 each
Breakfast with Father Christmas
On Sunday, December 13 at 10:30am, experience a wonderful breakfast buffet with a visit by Father Christmas and other kid-friendly entertainment. Seating is first come, first served at tables of ten.
Price: Adults: $12 plus admission; Children (6-13): $10 plus admission, Toddlers (under 6): $5 plus admission

HOLIDAY TEAS
Adult Teas:
Holiday tea has become an annual tradition for many Dunsmuir visitors and are available by advance reservation only.
Teas are served in the cozy atmosphere of Dinkelspiel House, an English style cottage at the entrance to the Estate grounds.
Guests will enjoy a hot pot of tea, an assortment of delicious sweets, freshly baked scones and tea sandwiches prepared by our
2009 exclusive holiday caterer, Culinary Excellence. $25 per adult, plus admission. Tea seatings are 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm on
Saturdays and 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm on Sundays.

Children's Teas:
For our young visitors we offer a special tea on Saturday mornings at 11:15 am on December 5th, 12th, and 19th. Specifically for
children 13 and younger with their grown up companions, it has all the great atmosphere and food of our adult teas, but a few surprises
that children will love. $17 per child (13 and under), $25 adult, plus admission. BY RESERVATION ONLY
Holidays at Dunsmuir Photos
This annual event has become a tradition in many Bay Area households.Costumed docents greet you as you take a step back into Edwardian times. When you cross the threshold into the majestically decorated 37-room mansion, you will see the two story live holiday tree that reaches into the Tiffany-style dome. Each room is uniquely decorated in jewel tones, with delicate, whimsical ornaments, bows and garland to create an exquisite atmosphere of a bygone era. Join us for a cozy tea in the Dinkelspiel cottage or have breakfast with Father Christmas. Shop for treasures in the antique carriage house, enjoy puppet shows, and listen to holiday music fill the air with choral and instrumental entertainment to warm your heart. Ride the festive trolley as it escorts your family and friends on a one mile path throughout the 50-acre grounds.
Our dedicated volunteers put in more than 5,000 hours to transform our 16,000 square foot mansion into a breathtaking holiday masterpiece for your enjoyment. Please know that your visit is important as proceeds from this event go toward the preservation, restoration and management of this Bay area treasure. A 501(c)3 non profit corporation. |
